About Me I am a Reiki Master/Teacher. I have also been called to a Celtic Hedge Witch path.

Music Like a lot of New Age music like Loreena McKennitt, Enya, and any put out by Sequoia Records.

Movies Not much of a movie watcher, though I do like to watch a good comedy occasionally.

TV Like Dancing With The Stars, So You Think You Can Dance, Dance Wars with Bruno and Carrie Ann, Food Network, TLC, Travel Channel, PBS, Food Network

Books Will read most New Age books. Also like some Sci-Fi fantasy, and cooking for two cookbooks - considering I live alone

Likes Humor - like to laugh, Good music - depends on my mood, cooking for one or two - not big on leftovers. Love fresh flowers picked from the garden with the fairies permission.

Dislikes Don't care for rap, hip-hop, people who are extemely rude, obnoxious, and big liars. Do not like people who think they know better than anyone else and like to lord it all over everyone.

Hobbies Collect faries, dragons, elves; crocheting (make afghans, potholders, pillow covers for ones that go on the couch and for those in nursing homes an skilled nursing facilities).

Vices My only vice is to make people laugh in a terrible situation - for example, dialysis for end stage kidney disease and feeling that you have no hope in the world.

Heroes Teachers - because they put up with a lot of crap from many students to find the few gems who love to learn. May the Lady bless them with lots of things that they need and deserve for their teaching careers and for the students in their quest for knowledge.

Found a home

Found a place here in Chico that is a metaphysical store/bohemian place call Phoenix Rising (phoenix_rising_chico). Both of the owners are witches, handfasted and have a son together. They also have three older childre (he's the step-parentto three and father to the youngest sone). One thing I found while becoming friends with them is that any question asked is not a stupid one. The only one that is stupid is the one not asked at all. I'll make a mention about this site to see if they might want to put a site up for themselves and their shop.

Wishing I felt better!!!

How I wish I felt better - actually I'd rather be completely healthy instead of sick all the time. I don't like having to deal with endstage kidney disease , end stage liver disease, being on dialysis 3 times a week to clean out my system, wwaiting for transplant for both kidney and liver, and being on anti-rejection drugs for the rest of my life. There are days that I wish I could give it all up - to say the hell with it, I'll see you in another lifetime. But if family caught up with me and knew what i was really thinking, I would not hear the end of it. I keep most of my thoughts avout this to myself, considering that my family do not really understand what is going through my mind.

One thing about blogs - can blow off steam and if I want feedback then I let everynone read it. If I don't want feedback I can keep this private. Right now I need the feedback and maybe it just might help me out in feeling much better about myself and the stuff I'm dealing with.
